Giving Women is a network of women involved in philanthropy who build on the depth of experience, knowledge and energy of the group. Giving Women forms a bridge between women givers and women meriting support. For more details see About us.
Who can become a Member?
Membership is open to women whose experience, network, skills, generosity and knowledge contribute to our mission. Membership is subject to acceptance according to the interests of Giving Women and deliberations are not disclosed. Applicants have to be referred by at least one active member.

- A database of evaluated projects by and for women, selected and evaluated by Giving Women, only accessible to members;
- A quarterly newsletter "Giving News";
- Invitations to project presentation evenings, conferences, think-tank meetings and seminars to discuss issues, exchange ideas and introduce projects and their leaders;
- A website for exchanging and sharing information among members regarding their philanthropic activities;
- A database of evaluated projects by and for women, selected and evaluated by Giving Women, only accessible to members;
- A quarterly newsletter "Giving News";

- Assistance and support to fellow-members in their philanthropic activities;

Membership fees
The annual membership is CHF 300. It covers January 1 to December 31 and contributes to the operating costs of Giving Women. Some events will entail a financial participation to costs.
Becoming a Member
Applicants fill in the Request Membership form. To do so they have to create a user account. Applications are examined by the Membership sub-committee. Once an application has been accepted and membership fees have been paid, the user account will be activated allowing the new member to enjoy the benefits offered by Giving Women.
Code of Conduct of the Association
Members will not use the events nor the list of members of the Association to promote activities that are unrelated to Giving Women, i.e. their own business activities, The list of members belongs to Giving Women. As such it is confidential and members should not use it for matters unrelated to Giving Women, All the material produced by Giving Women (documents, presentations, list of members, evaluations, website content, etc) belongs to the Association and cannot be used outside Giving Women or transferred to non members.
